Technical Support Specialist
The Technical Support Specialist will be responsible for day to day end user and systems support and maintenance for the Inland Empire Region consisting of Pacific Eye Institute (PEI) and Inland Eye Institute (IEI).

Essential Job Duties
  • Utilize ticketing system to receive, troubleshoot, and resolve support requests.
  • Work closely with Application Specialists to support, troubleshoot and resolve core application issues.
  • Coordinate with third party vendors and additional IT resources to provide technical support to end users.
  • Participate and assist with new software and hardware implementations, create documentation, and perform software testing and evaluation as needed.
  • Work closely with users from all levels on related projects to utilize resources, prioritize tasks, and ensure quality and on-time delivery.
  • Adhere to all regulatory requirements. Assist with the development of processes and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations and requirements.
Job Qualifications
The qualified candidate will have a minimum of 1-2 years experience in an IT support role, with functional knowledge of Windows and MAC operating systems, Microsoft Office, Sharepoint and Active Directory. Must possess strong conceptual, analytical, and judgement abilities and be able to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences. Previous healthcare IT experience preferred.

Location/Schedule Details
This position is located in Rancho Cucamonga's Central Business Office, but requires travel to all PEI and IEI locations as needed. Hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm and on call rotation for additional compensation.
