Patient Access Supervisor
Responsible for overall operations of the call center and surgery scheduling to ensure patient appointments and surgical visits are scheduled appropriately and with the highest regard for patient satisfaction. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Maintain effective call center and surgery scheduling office functions, including but not limited to evaluating staffing levels, staff proficiency and job responsibilities; processing payroll; performance reviews, etc
  • Develop and maintains new hire training manual and procedures for new hires.  Ensures new hires receive appropriate training.
  • Maximize call center and surgery scheduling staff productivity through proficient use of appropriate software applications and systems, effective utilization of resources and delegation of duties.
  • Lead and participate in regular team meetings; provide positive and constructive feedback and suggestions to patient access team members.
  • Assume responsibility for ongoing development and training for patient access team members and self.
  • Provide customer service excellence to our patients and staff.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
  • High school education with 2-3 years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Previous customer service experience required.
  • Previous supervisory experience preferred.
  • Electronic Medical Records and Electronic Practice Management experience required.
Schedule/Location Details 
The Patient Access Supervisor position will be based out of the Northwest Eye Golden Valley Administration office. The position is a 40 hour, 5 day/week role working primarily during the hours of 8am - 5pm Monday - Friday.
