Senior FP&A Analyst Job – Dallas, TX

Key Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end monthly MD provider compensation process: calculate productivity-based compensation, prepare individual provider files, and distribute according to necessary timeline
- Own the monthly OD productivity bonus accrual and the quarterly OD payout, distributed and paid according to necessary timeline
- Maintain accurate records of provider-specific compensation rules, exceptions, splits, and minimum guarantees
- Perform post-close provider compensation analysis to validate results against booked revenue and compensation entries
- Partner with HR, Operations, and Accounting on provider onboarding, terminations, and compensation plan changes and track/integrate accordingly
- Continuously improve the provider compensation process through automation, standardization, and stronger documentation
- Own the monthly Billable Supplies (BSUP) margin analysis, including data aggregation from various support systems
- Prepare and distribute BSUP Margins by Practice reporting to RCM, Accounting, and Operations stakeholders
- Partner with RCM to investigate missing revenue, reconcile variances, and ensure margin accuracy
- Prepare Non-Billable Supplies (NBSUP) adjustment data for Accounting based on Envi usage and trend reporting
- Prepare the monthly Net Revenue file for upload to Great Plains (GP) following receipt of the net revenue detail from RCM
- Investigate and resolve variances; document recurring variance patterns and propose structural fixes
- Coordinate with Accounting to ensure timely booking of supply-related entries and provider compensation accruals
- Support the annual inventory valuation process
- Serve as a finance partner to RCM, Operations, and Accounting; translating financial data into actionable insight for non-financial stakeholders
- Serve as the finance point of contact for providers and regional Operations leaders on compensation questions
- Identify trends, risks, and opportunities surfaced by monthly analysis and escalate appropriately
- Respond to ad hoc analysis requests from the VP of Finance and cross-functional leaders
- Document and maintain written SOPs for all recurring processes, with provider compensation as the highest priority
- Identify opportunities to automate, streamline, or eliminate manual work in recurring reporting and analysis
- Partner with IT and systems owners to improve data flow between Envi, GP, and analysis tools
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related quantitative field
- 5+ years of progressive FP&A, financial analysis, or accounting experience, with demonstrable experience
- Advanced Excel skills, including complex formulas, pivot tables, and data modeling; comfort working with large datasets
- Strong understanding of month-end close processes, accruals, and the relationship between operational data and financial reporting
- Demonstrated ability to investigate variances independently and communicate findings clearly to both finance and non-finance audiences
- Exceptional attention to detail and discretion; able to handle sensitive compensation information appropriately
- Track record of meeting recurring deadlines with cross-functional dependencies
- Experience in healthcare, multi-site services, or provider-based organizations
- Direct experience with provider compensation models, productivity-based pay structures (wRVU, collections-based, or similar), or physician/clinician pay administration
- Experience with ERP systems (Great Plains / Dynamics GP preferred / NetSuite) and supply management platforms (Envi)
- Experience with SQL, Power Query, Power BI, or similar tools for data extraction and visualization
- Exposure to process automation tools (Alteryx, Python, UiPath, or similar)
- CPA, CMA, or MBA

Position Summary
UVP is seeking an experienced Associate Attorney to join its in-house Legal & Compliance team in Dallas, Texas. This role will support a broad range of legal matters across physician practice management, ASC partnership models, healthcare regulatory compliance, and employment law.
The Associate Attorney will work closely with physicians, operational leaders, and cross-functional teams to provide practical, business-oriented legal guidance that aligns with UVP’s physician-centric mission and growth strategy.
This is an ideal role for a healthcare attorney who enjoys being embedded in the business, values collaboration over silos, and wants to help shape a growing, multi-state healthcare platform.
Key Responsibilities
Healthcare Law –
- Advise healthcare providers and organizations on regulatory compliance, including state and federal healthcare laws
- Support matters involving HIPAA, privacy, and confidentiality policies and procedures
- Draft and review healthcare-related contracts, including provider agreements, employment agreements, and vendor contracts
- Assist with investigations, audits, and responses to regulatory agencies
- Provide guidance on corporate practice of medicine, licensing, and operational compliance (as applicable)
Employment / Labor –
- Advise employers on workplace compliance, including wage and hour, discrimination, leave laws, and employee discipline
- Draft and revise employment agreements, handbooks, and workplace policies
- Assist with internal investigations and employee relations matters
- Support litigation matters including administrative charges (EEOC/state agencies), demand letters, and employment-related disputes
- Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda, pleadings, and discovery materials
General Legal Support –
- Manage matters efficiently under attorney supervision while meeting deadlines
- Communicate clearly with clients and maintain strong client service standards
- Collaborate with attorneys and staff to support case strategy and execution
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (J.D>)from an accredited law school
- Active bar license in good standing (state-specific if needed)
- 5+ years of relevant legal experience
- Strong background in healthcare law and employment/labor law strongly preferred
- Experience working with healthcare providers (physician groups, hospitals, clinics, long-term care, etc.)
- Familiarity with HIPAA, Stark/Anti-Kickback basics, licensing, and provider contracting
- Strong legal research, writing, and drafting skills
- Ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment
- In-house or healthcare platform experience
- Experience supporting physician practice management or ASC partnership models
- Comfort working in a private-equity-backed environment
