Unifeye Vision Partners is currently hiring for a Regional Vice President, ASC and Medical Practice Operations, Southern California (Ventura County, Inland Empire, Riverside and San Diego)
SUMMARY
The RVP is responsible for providing strategic leadership for the regions by working to establish long-range goals, strategies, policies and procedures. Accountable for meeting or exceeding budgeted financial targets while driving disciplined, sustainable operational performance. Identifies and develops plans to optimize business development opportunities and position the market for ongoing success. Builds and maintains strong relationships with physicians, management teams, referring doctors, industry leaders, vendors and National Support teams.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Organize, implement, direct and evaluate the region’s overall functions and performance.
- Develop and execute strategic initiatives in conjunction with UVP Senior Management.
- Evaluate and advise on the impact of long-range planning, introduction of new programs/strategies and regulatory action.
- Timely and accurate analysis of budgets, monthly financial reports and trends to assist management teams in performance of their responsibilities.
- Enhance and/or develop, implement and enforce policies and procedures of the organization by creating systems that will improve the overall operation and effectiveness of the corporation.
- Identify new opportunities for business growth/development or to improve performance.
- Enhance and improve financial performance each period by working with Division Managers, ASC Administrators and Physicians to achieve KPI’s and work within established budgets.
- Provide strategic leadership on decision making issues affecting the organization; hiring, coaching and training opportunities. The ability to hold Department Leads accountable for goals and policies established by the organization.
- Provide input regarding financial and operational issues related to perspective contracts under consideration.
- Effectively manage compliance issues. Provide leadership for Clinical, ASC or operational concerns.
- Evaluate the operational structure and plan for continual improvement. Provide team members with professional and personal growth opportunities.
- Manage and coordinate physician recruitment activities as well as oversee the Physician Master Schedule.
- Resolve escalated patient complaints and complex staffing challenges or issues.
- Recruit, retain and lead superior management team members.
Financial Responsibilities:
RVP is responsible for overseeing the financial goals and obligations of the practice and ASC’s. Responsibilities include:
- RVP is accountable for the overall financial performance of the practice and ASCs.
- Ensure all practice financial obligations and expenses are met in a timely manner.
- Work with the Billing Team to ensure that outgoing reimbursements are submitted in a timely manner to ensure cash flow is met.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree
- A minimum of 10 years of work experience in the health care field
- Experience overseeing provider based multi-unit practices
- Experience with M&A and Denovo development
- Experience in Ophthalmology or vision preferred
- Experience working with Private Equity owned businesses is preferred

- ASC Directors and Directors of Nursing
- Patient Access Managers
- Other Administrative positions
