SUMMARY
The Temp Site Supervisor is responsible for assisting in leading the daily clinical functions in an Clinical setting. The position provides direction and leadership to ensure Pacific Eye Institute meets the requirements of great patient care and improved population health within an efficient cost structure, while improving the work life of providers and staff.
 
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES
  • The Site Supervisor facilitates communication, coordination, and collaboration among disciplines regarding identification, planning and provision of high quality, cost-effective care.
  • Principal responsibilities include operations, establishing and maintaining clinical standards of care, managing of staff and resources, facilitating research and education, and maintaining compliance with all policies, procedures, and regulations. 
  • Promotes the mission, vision, and values of the organization.
  • Participates in strategic planning and coordination of the Quality & Performance Improvement Program.
  • Assist in evaluating the department’s work force in terms of overall staffing and scheduling.
  • Order supplies and work with staff at all levels to ensure inventory measures are consistently met.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
  • High schedule diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of one (1) year experience in ophthalmic capacity (front or back office)
  • Leadership experience preferred
  • Certified Ophthalmic Assistant (COA) preferred.
  • Ophthalmic Scribe Certification (OSC) preferred.
 
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY
This position has no supervisory responsibility.
